Under the motto "We keep you safe on the road", Dr. Thomas Freudenmann, CEO and co-founder of EDI GmbH, will present EDI GmbH's Dynamic Risk Management with a focus on the RELAI project - Risk Estimation with a Learning AI - at the ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo, which takes place from 21 - 23 June 2022 in Stuttgart. On Thursday 23 June 2022, he will be giving a live demonstration of the Event Detector application, which recognises patterns that occur in the data in dangerous situations. The presentation will take place from 13:55 - 14:30 in Room B at Messe Stuttgart.
The RELAI project - Risk Estimation with a Learning AI - pursues the approach of analysing real scenarios in road traffic and the driving behaviour necessary for safe driving. For this purpose, not only the official traffic rules are taken into account, but also the traffic behaviour of other road users. EDI GmbH's contribution to the RELAI project is the Dynamic Risk Management (DRM), which enables autonomous driving systems to behave in different risky situations in road traffic in the same way as experienced human drivers do.
