Under the motto "Forest and Wood 4.0: From Idea to Implementation", EDI GmbH will be present at Interforst, the leading international trade fair for forestry and forestry technology. The trade fair takes place from 17-20 July 2022 at the Trade Fair Center of Messe München. On Wednesday, 20 July, Tobias Stürmliger, Business Developer of EDI GmbH, will present examples from the research projects KWH4.0, S3I-X and EDE4.0 together with Frank Heinze, project coordinator of the infrastructure project „Kompetenzzentrum Wald und Holz 4.0“ at 12:00 noon. The presentation will focus on digitisation in forestry, connecting data and making it available with the help of GAIA-X, the project for the next generation of a data infrastructure from Europe.
