The second part of the delegation trip to the ASEAN region organised by Baden-Württemberg international went to Malaysia. On the first day, the delegation from Germany visited the two Malaysian companies Inari Technology Sdn. Bhd., a specialist in outsourced semiconductor assembly and testing, and NSW Automation, a world leader in precision liquid dispensing systems for the global microelectronics and semiconductor industries. The day concluded with a reception hosted by the German Ambassador to Malaysia, Dr Peter Blomeyer and the German Business Community Penang (GBC).
After a visit to B. Braun Medical Industries Sdn. Bhd., one of the largest medical technology companies in the world on the second day, a round table meeting was held with representatives of stakeholders and trade associations from Northern Malaysia under the motto: "German Industry 4.0 specialist Baden-Württemberg invites: Driving Industrial Automation in Malaysia & ASEAN through international collaboration."
On the third and last day of the delegation trip, Mohanad El-Haji, CEO and co-founder of EDI GmbH, and the other participants of the trip had the opportunity to establish contacts with potential Malaysian business partners in individual B2B discussions. The trip concluded with a visit to TS Electrical Marketing, a company that provides safe and reliable low-voltage power and control solutions.
