The Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Tourismus Baden-Württemberg and the partners of the Initiative Wirtschaft 4.0 (IW4.0) are organising an AI Pitching Event Automotive Industry on Monday, 19 December 2022, from 13:00 - 18:00. The aim of the event is to provide the best possible support to companies in the automotive industry in the use of AI-based solutions and products. Opportunities for using AI lie, for example, in the design of supply chains or in material and energy efficiency.
Under the motto "WE KEEP YOU SAFE ON THE ROAD", Dr Thomas Freudenmann, CEO and co-founder of EDI GmbH, will present EDI GmbH's mobility solutions. These are, on the one hand, the Incident Detector application, with which critical scenarios can be found in traffic data. On the other hand the Weak Context Sensing application can be used to identify situations in which the sensors, e.g. the cameras of autonomously driving vehicles, find difficult conditions and the data is not reliable or usable. The GOSAIFE project will also be presented. The aim of the project is to recognise potentially dangerous situations in road traffic precociously and thus ensuring safe navigation through swarm intelligence.
